EASTER. He Who was Crucified as a Criminal Is the World's Savior

 "Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified; a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God." 1 Corinthians 1:22-25.

[After His resurrection] Jesus looked to heaven and prayed: "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify You [. For you granted Him authority over all people that He might give eternal life to all those you have given Him. Now this is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent."  (John 17:1-3)

"To the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen." (Jude 1:25).

"I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.  And now Father, glorify Me in Your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began." (John 17:4-5)
